Well, here we are a week later after a rain filled weekend. Cinco de Mayo was dry enough that I actually got everything except the butternut squash planted. I need to find room for that though. The front yard is starting to look pretty full. ;-)
Pictured above is an 8' diameter circle I dug out and weeded for the blueberry bush. Since it is still small and will take time to reach its estimated 6' diameter, I decided to utilize the leftover growing space.
I have planted a zucchini, eggplant, honeydew melon, some cabbage and some onions in this bed. We'll see how this works although I'm pretty certain I'm going to have to move some things out before the growing season ends.
